Privacy policy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address and, if you give it, phone number.
- Questionnaire answers: goals, training experience, schedule, height, weight, age range, eating preferences, allergies, and any injuries or health information you choose to share.
- Progress data: workouts, meals, check-ins (such as waist and weight) and habits you log in the app.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment but never your full card number.
Why we use it
- To build and adjust your training and nutrition plan.
- To let your coach review your progress and give feedback.
- To reply to your messages and manage your account and payments.
We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
Health information
Health details you share (like injuries or medical conditions) are used only to make your plan safer, and only with your consent. You can choose not to share them, but then we can't adjust your plan for them.
Who can see it
Your coach (Hank Oosthuizen) and the service providers we use to run the app: secure database hosting (Supabase), website hosting (Netlify) and our payment provider. They may store data outside South Africa, under agreements that protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you are a client and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep payment records longer.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information at any time, or object to how we use it. Email hankoosthuizen84@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The client app stores your login and settings on your device so it works properly.
